AURORA, Colo.—Police have arrested a 30-year-old woman suspected in a fatal hit-and-run crash in Aurora.
Lt. Jeff Turner says a man was crossing the southbound lanes of Interstate 225 when he was struck at about 8:35 p.m. Sunday. The victim, whose name has not been released, was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.
Police say a witness followed the SUV and gave investigators a description of the vehicle and a license plate number. Officers found the vehicle a short time later and arrested Tashima Littleton of Denver.
Turner says investigators believe Littleton was intoxicated at the time of the crash.
