COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—The Colorado Springs Streets Division is changing its approach to snowplowing after a mess Friday, when crews had trouble getting the roads cleared.
Motorists say roads were snow-packed and slippery because trucks were caught in rush hour traffic and crews were unable to deploy multiple plows on major highways.
According to KOAA-TV ( ), the streets division also blamed a shortage of de-icing materials.
