Cherry Creek High School will be open on a normal schedule Thursday, however, police will be on campus because of a threat made Wednesday.
Classes were dismissed Wednesday after a threat — not specified by officials — was made.
Greenwood Village police were at the school and “sweeping” the campus after the students were gone Wednesday evening, said Tustin Amole, school district spokeswoman.
Students were released at 2:10 p.m., Amole said.
The normal dismissal time is 2:51 p.m.
“We will be vigilant, as always,” Amole said of precautions for Thursday.
