One snow snowmobiler was killed and another was partially buried in avalanche near Crested Butte Monday, according to the Colorado Avalanche Information Center.
The two people were caught in a large avalanche near Kebler Pass.
Crews with the Colorado Avalanche Information Center will visit the area Tuesday and release more information as it becomes available.
Almost the entire high country is under a “high” avalanche warning.
