Almost 2,000 customers in the Washington Park West area were without power Monday night, according to Xcel Energy.
There were 1,959 outages as of 8:40 p.m., according to the Xcel outage map. Power was restored shortly before 9 p.m. after being out since 7 p.m.
It is unclear why the power was out.
