THORNTON, Colo.—Police say a man was pronounced dead a hospital after he was discovered in a burning home in Thornton.
Officer Matt Barnes says police were called to the Pine Lakes Ranch Mobile Home Park on Riverdale Road just before 11:30 a.m. Sunday and saw heavy smoke coming from the home.
The man, whose name and age have not been released, was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.
The cause and origin of the fire has not been determined, and authorities have not said how the man died.
