
BOULDER, Colo.— Tia Presley scored 32 points for the second consecutive game leading Washington State to an 80-77 win over Colorado on Sunday.
Sage Romberg had 14 points and 12 rebounds for the Cougars (14-12, 8-6) with Lia Galderia adding 10 points, including four free throws in the final two minutes.
Jen Reese and reserve Jamee Swan had 19 each for the Buffaloes (14-11, 4-10) with Ashley Wilson adding 12.
Pressley had 22 points in the first half as the Cougars took a 44-40 lead. The margin got to nine in the second half but Colorado used an 11-3 run to get back in the game. The Buffs finally got the lead, 74-73, on a pair of Wilson free throws with 2:52 to go.
After another Wilson free throw, Galderia made two at 2:01, fed Presley for a layup and made two more with 12 seconds to go to make it 79-75.
