Eastbound Interstate 70 is closed between Hidden Valley and the base of Floyd Hill due to a 10,000 pound slab of marble that fell off of the back of a truck Friday, according to Colorado Department of Transportation.
The incident happened around 3:50 p.m.according to CDOT.
Drivers should use U.S. 40 as an alternate route.
