Denver police are asking the community for help in identifying a man who assaulted a woman in the stairwell of her apartment building on Sunday.
The assault happened around 9 a.m. at 860 S. Oneida St., according to a news release from Denver police.
The man is described as a Hispanic male, in his 40s, about 5-feet 11-inches tall, with a heavy build (pot belly), mustache, thick eyebrows and acne scarring on his face, according to the release.
The man also had a crooked right index finger.
The suspect may be a transient.
