Thornton Police told 7NEWS they searched Thornton High School Monday morning after a report of a nearby gunman, but found nothing.
Police spokesman Matt Barnes told 7NEWS the school was placed on lockdown after a caller reported a “party with a gun near campus.”
Barnes said officers searched the school and found nothing.
Barnes said the tipster hung up after stating the person had a gun, so police couldn’t follow up on the tip.
