frontman is stepping into the pulse again, but this time with a new sound and what appears to be a new band. The always cool, mumbling and leather-clad singer has announced an upcoming album credited to Julian Casablancas + the Voidz.
The announcement comes with a spastic teaser that ranges from garage metal to industrial pop and a synth ballad. Casablancas released his first solo album, “Phrazes for the Young” in 2009.
Casablancas will headline the Music Festival in New York on June 8.
