Fresh off the release of the excellent new album, “Atlas,” stopped in Boulder on its way to SXSW. The always relaxed indie-rock band played at the on Sunday, touring in support of its third studio album.
Ahead of the show, about the pains the band went through to settle on the final track list for “Atlas.”
“We think of an album as much as we think of anything else, like the way a song fits together is as important as how all the songs go together,” Bleeker said. “We recorded double the songs, and then labored a lot over which songs to use.”
