An Adams County Sheriff’s deputy was arrested Thursday, by his own department, for alleged sexual assault on a child.
Henry Ford, a deputy in the jail and a eight-year veteran of the department, was arrested after an investigation into allegations was opened Wednesday, according to a news release from the sheriff’s office.
No additional details were released.
Sheriff Doug Darr is expected to share more information about the case Friday.
