Armed robbery. On April 9, Englewood police officers were dispatched to the 2200 block of West Evans Avenue, where a man came into the business and robbed the store at gunpoint, taking an undisclosed amount of cash. He was not found.
Hammer time. On April 4, Englewood police officers responded to the 3200 block of South Sherman Avenue, where a man assaulted another man with a hammer, assaulted a woman who witnessed the assault and made stabbing motions to both with a knife, threatening to kill them. He was eventually taken into custody.
Stolen motorcycle. On April 2, Englewood police officers responded to the 600 block of Englewood Parkway, where they found a man attempting to start a motorcycle and found the vehicle had been stolen. The man was arrested.
Oops. On April 1, Englewood police officers responded to the 2800 block of South Delaware Street, where a man’s shotgun went off accidentally, hitting his wife just above the knee. He was not charged.
Estranged. On March 19, a Littleton police officer was dispatched to the 5300 block of South Federal Circle, where a man confronted his estranged wife and friend and attempted to assault them. He was arrested for harassment after turning himself in.
Skateboarding. On March 17, a Littleton police officer was dispatched to Euclid Middle School, 777 W. Euclid Ave., where some young men were spraying epoxy in gaps in concrete to make the surface easier to skateboard across. School security said it would cost $1,000 to remove the epoxy.
