Denver police are investigating a hit-and-run accident in which a pedestrian was severely injured Thursday night.
The incident happened before 9 p.m. at South Colorado Boulevard and East Mexico Avenue, Denver police reported on Twitter.
The victim taken to the hospital with serious bodily injuries, police said.
The run vehicle is described as gray VW Jetta and was last seen heading west on Mexico.
