A missing man in a wheelchair, who has cerebral palsy, was found Thursday morning by Denver police.
Cesar Diaz, 18, was last seen about 7 p.m. Wednesday near West Mexico Avenue and South Quitman Street, according to the Denver Police Department Twitter account.
He was found about 8:20 a.m. in the Sanderson Gulch green belt area off of South Irving Street, south of West Iowa Avenue.
Diaz is safe, according to a Denver Police Department spokesman.
He’ll be checked out by medical responders as a precautionary measure after spending the night outdoors.
Overnight temperatures dropped into the mid- to lower-30s in the metro area, according to the National Weather Serivce.
