Adele’s “21” has sold more than 26 million copies worldwide, so you could imagine that hordes of fans and the slagging recording industry is waiting on pins and needles for a follow up album. And that means it’s a pretty big deal that Adele might have finally announced her new album on Twitter.
On Sunday, giving a thumbs up with the text, “By bye 25… See you again later in the year x”
This might not seem like much, but Adele turns 26 on May 5 and titled her two previous albums the age she was while recording them (aka “19” and “21”).
Maybe Colorado’s Ryan Tedder can help clear up the mystery. The OneRepublic frontman co-wrote and produced Adele’s major hit, “Rumour Has It” from “21.”
