Taking a break on its tour, stopped by “The Late Show with David Letterman” on Monday to show a softer side of the band.
As it continues to support its latest album, “Wig Out at Jagbags,” Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks played the downtempo “Houston Hades,” a song that reveals Malkmus as someone who has grown into a loving husband/father rather than the slacker kid he was in his Pavement days.
