Glenwood history tours
Hidden History Tours in Glenwood Springs begin May 30. “Robbers, Reprobates and the Red Light District” tours are offered Friday evenings from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and led by costumed guides. Tickets are $15 and include admission to the Frontier Historical Museum. Tours run through Aug. 29.
Holy Smoke BBQ Showdown
Cañon City’s seventh-annual Holy Smoke BBQ Showdown is May 30-31. Festivities begin at 4 p.m. on Friday and include live music, a Weenie Dog Race, lots of barbecue and more. Admission is $5 for adults and free for those under 12.
Westcliff vino and brew fest
The second annual Brew with a View and Vino Too festival in downtown Westcliff is May 31. Beginning at 1 p.m. food, wine and beer tastings will be served with music and mountains in the background. Tickets are $20. 719-783-2615 or 719-783-2282.
Manitou wine festival
The 2014 Manitou Springs Colorado Wine Festival is May 31. From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., the day features local food, live entertainment and 25 Colorado wineries pouring tastes and selling bottles. Tickets are $30.
