Getting your player ready...

The ceremonial first pitch at a major league baseball game is a rite of passage for any famous celebrity or politician. So, when you’re a tough guy hip hopper such as , you’d better make sure your pitch game is air tight. Sporting his own jersey with No. 50, Curtis Jackson proved while throwing the opening pitch at the Mets game on Tuesday that he’s not a baseball player. His pitch is about five yards to the left of the plate, nearly hitting the camera men on the field.

“That first pitch was not great. Just a bit outside,” the announcers joke after Jackson’s attempt.

At least Curtis still has all that Vitamin Water money to rest his laurels on for a while, or until his new album, “Animal Ambition,” is released on June 3.
