1 Suspect breaks into Broker, drinks two bottles. A man was arrested by Denver Police on May 24 after he was observed inside The Broker restaurant, 821 17th St., after hours. The man was shirtless and found behind the bar of the establishment. The suspect was cited for trespassing and it was later learned that he consumed a bottle of Crown Royal and another bottle of Vodka 14. The loss was estimated at $60 for the two bottles.

2 Party crasher threatens to slap people. A man was arrested for trespassing and disturbing the peace May 25 after he jumped the fence during an event at the Lupitas Event Center, 2465 W. Evans Ave., and began harassing patrons. The man reportedly threatened to slap everyone inside. When Denver Police arrived, the man was holding a toddler and passed him to his girlfriend, saying “hold this.”

3 Suspect steals man’s dog. On May 26, a man was arrested by Denver Police after he stole another person’s dog in the 2700 block of Larimer Street. The victim told police that the suspect had asked to buy his dog and then forcibly took the animal without permission. The suspect threatened to shoot the victim and assaulted him. The victim got the dog back with the help of witnesses.

4 Man hurt after crashing through window. Denver Police were called to a scene May 23 after a man was observed bleeding outside an apartment complex in the 5000 block of West Colfax Avenue. An employee noted that video surveillance showed the suspect hurling himself through the window. Damage was estimated at $400.
