Weather forecasters with the National Weather Service call for mostly sunny skies and a high near 91 degrees on Tuesday.
That’s just three degrees shy of the all-time record for June 3 in Denver.
The eventual high was 92, the first day of the year with a high of 90 or above.
Afternoon winds could gust up to 33 mph, the weather service said.
Tonight, the weather service said to expect clear skies with a low near 56 degrees, and wind gusts up to 29 mph.
On Wednesday, a slight chance — 10 percent — of afternoon showers and thunderstorms returns, along with a high of 85 degrees, the weather service said.
