
1Burrito splatter. Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies responded May 20 to a domestic disturbance in the 3000 block of Conifer Circle, Evergreen. A male answered the door and said he and his girlfriend had a fight but nothing physical took place, except when he threw his burrito against the wall, causing it to splatter. The girlfriend confirmed there was no harm done and she did not feel intimidated by the burrito.
2Lawns vandalized. A resident of the 1100 block of Ninth Street, Golden, reported to Golden police May 18 that damage to his and his neighbor’s landscaping appeared to have been caused by a four-wheeler driving on the sidewalk and through the yards. Damage was estimated at $100.
3Deputy request backfires. On May 24, a woman requested a deputy stand by in the 29000 block of Hotel Way, Evergreen, because she needed to retrieve her belongings from her ex-boyfriend’s house and was worried there might be conflict. When she began to take a TV, the ex said it was his. Deputies told the woman she needed to leave the TV and settle the matter in court. She became angry and required restraint.
4Silent lurker. A resident of the 5600 block of Herzman Drive, Evergreen, reported a suspicious male on her property on May 20. She said he did not respond to her repeated questions, but just got into his silver car and drove away.
5Computer fight. Golden police went to the 1500 block of E Street on May 17 on a report of an assault. A woman said her mom repeatedly shoved her when trying to get to her computer. No charges were filed.
