Steamboat Springs will host the 26th annual Rocky Mountain Mustang Roundup Thursday through next Sunday, Sept. 12-15, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Ford Mustang.
Five hundred Mustangs have been registered for the event, which will include a mountain tour to Steamboat Lake on Thursday, an autocross in Meadows lot and evening social at Steamboat Grand Hotel on Friday, the car show in downtown Steamboat on Saturday, and the awards breakfast at the hotel on Sunday morning. The roundup is overseen by volunteers from six Colorado Mustang clubs – Denver Mustang, Early Mustang, Front Range Mustang, High Country Mustang, Rocky Mountain Mustangers and Shelby American Automobile Club Colorado Chapter. 31st Annual Colorado Concours d’Elegance & Exotic Sports Car Show from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. today (Sunday) at Arapahoe Community College in Littleton. Proceeds will benefit the children’s educational programs at Ability Connection Colorado.
