Bike celebration
Crested Butte Bike Week is June 26-29 and offers trail rides and races, including the Chainless World Championships, the Fat Tire 40 and Bridges of the Butte.
Ranch rodeo
The 13th annual Colorado Championship Ranch Rodeo is June 27-28 in Hugo. Teams from Kansas, Colorado, Wyoming and Texas compete to head to the World Championships, and the event also features a chuckwagon cook-off and a trade show. Tickets are $6 for adults and free for those under 12.
Art on display
The Salida Art Walk is June 27-29. In its 22nd year, the three-day celebration includes fine arts and crafts on display from more than fifty venues.
Fields of Dreams
The 68th annual Paonia Cherry Days are July 4-6, with plenty of cherries, a pie-eating contest, a cook-off, live entertainment, fireworks and a parade.
