A person was stabbed Friday morning near downtown Denver and police are looking for the assailant.
The incident happened about 8:45 a.m. in the area of 21st and Stout streets, the Denver Police Department said on Twitter.
The victim is in stable condition, police said.
Police describe the assailant as a white man, with red hair, in his early 20s. He was wearing a white t-shirt, white cap, blue jeans and green shoes without shoe laces.
