
1 Jumped at the ATM. A man called Denver Police on June 18 after he was attacked leaving an ATM machine in the 8300 block of East Colfax Avenue. The victim told police he had used the ATM in front of Orlando’s Apartments and was attacked by five to seven people, who stole his wallet.
2 Purse snatcher caught. A man was arrested June 20 after he snatched a purse from a woman near the intersection of 16th Street and Broadway. The woman told Denver Police that she felt someone grab her purse and looked back to see a man riding away on a bike with it. Police apprehended him later.
3 More purse shenanigans. On June 21, a man called Denver Police after a woman broke a window at his home in the 1600 block of South Federal Boulevard. The man told police the woman had come by because she thought she left her purse the night before. The man told the woman it was not there and asked her to leave, at which point she broke the window.
4 Large-scale fight at Cheesman Park. On June 21, Denver Police officers were called to a fight involving 30-40 people at Cheesman Park, 1599 E. 8th Ave. Upon arriving, police witnessed a woman assault another woman and continue to pursue her. Both parties refused to speak with police.
5 Man randomly punched. A man contacted Denver Police on June 23 after he was punched in the face by a man he had never seen before near the intersection of 16th Avenue and Grant Street. The man said he was punched twice and thrown to the ground. He did not remember much at the time of contact.
