1Church elder harassed. A man who had been living on property at Christ the King Catholic Church, 4291 Evergreen Parkway, Evergreen, was issued a summons for harassment June 20. Because of suspicious behavior, the man had been citing for trespassing at the church. When he went to retrieve his belongings from a church shed, he sent a harassing text message to a church elder accusing him of theft of, among other items, a “vintage” CD collection, a pirate flag and Bag Balm.

2 Market robbed. Golden police reported to the Golden Farmers Market, 1019 10th St., on June 14 in response to a report of theft. A customer saw two teenage males steal a bank bag full of about $200 in cash and checks from a vendor and run away west on 10th Street. Police were unable to locate the suspects.

3 Noisy neighbors. A resident of the 100 block of A Street, Golden, called Golden police June 18 to report that his neighbor was shining a light into his residence and yelling at him. He said they were feuding because he has to “holler” at his kids and dog often. The neighbor admitted the noise bothered her and she had “lost it.” Both were advised to be more conscious of their noise volume.

4 Harassing calls. Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies received a phone report June 18 from a resident of the 23000 block of Running Deer Road, Conifer, about harassing calls coming from a number nearly identical to his own. The person calling was belligerent in asking him to stop calling their number. When the resident tried to explain he wasn’t calling the number, he was threatened and blocked the number.
