A two-vehicle crash sent one car into a fire hydrant and another onto its side in Denver Thursday morning.
The crash happened around 6:30 a.m. at the corner of East 14th Avenue and Clarkson Street.
A late model Toyota Corolla was broadsided in the rear, spun and hit a fire hydrant.
The second vehicle, a Pontiac Grand Am, flipped onto its side and took out a street pole. It sustained heavy damage to the front end.
A Denver firefighter said one person involved in the crash was treated at the scene and released.
The driver of the other vehicle, a young woman, was too shook up to talk about the accident and declined comment.
Both cars were loaded onto tow trucks, and firefighters cleared the scene.
