Not even a hospital bed and a severe allergic reaction can keep away from the . Cyrus appeared in the Lips’ new video, “Blonde SuperFreak Steals the Magic Brain,” from her actual hospital bed.

In the mostly-nonsensical video, Cyrus’ brain is stolen per the orders of (the “evil, power-hungry cult leader”). When the “Blonde SuperFreak” realizes her brain is missing, she flips out (in a profanity-filled rant) and sends her goons to bring back her brain. Meanwhile, Cyrus, sits in a room laughing while smoking what appears to be a blunt. The video includes a burnt-face Santa, a naked woman, an explosion of diamonds, gooey slime, rainbows, mushrooms, and of course a baby mole.

As for actual music, there isn’t much to go off here — a few backwards loops of string instruments, various synth sound effects and reverb-heavy vocals. And explosions, lots of explosions.

“This is the video we originally intended to be for a song that has a reference to the drug LSD,” Flaming Lips “We were lucky enough to get a couple of hours with a bedridden Miley Cyrus. And even though she was still quite ill, she was full of laughs and great absurd suggestions.”

Throughout 2014, Cyrus and the Flaming Lips have been inseparable, appearing at shows together and recording together.

The Flaming Lips have always been known for wacky videos. to find nude extras, rollerskating ghosts, obese bearded bikers and more for a music video.
