1 Bike stolen from garage. A woman in the 6100 block of Xavier Court left her garage door open for a minute on June 19 and witnesses said an hispanic male walked in and stole a $2,000 downhill bike. She told police the thief probably didn’t make it far because the bike is difficult to pedal on level ground.

2 Neighborhood mischief. A black Ford Explorer was egged on June 24 in the 6800 block of Pierce Street.

3 Gas tank left open. A woman became concerned on June 24 in the 7600 block of Pierce Street after finding the gas tank on her dad’s car open. She called the police.

4 Argument at Good Times. A woman who was a passenger in a vehicle that was cut off in the Good Times parking lot at 9731 W. 58th Ave. on June 24 yelled an expletive at the other driver. The female driver yelled back that she wasn’t afraid to fight because “I’m 18 years old.” They were both issued disorderly conduct tickets.

5 Spitting incident prompts murder threat. Police were dispatched to 9145 Oberon Road on June 25 after a man wielding a screwdriver threatened to stab and kill two men after one of them spit off a balcony. The victims told police they had prior confrontations with their neighbor and he refused to accept their apology for spitting off the balcony. He was issued a municipal summons for menacing.

6 Man caught shoplifting. A man grabbed paper and ink cartridges and ran out the door of the King Soopers at 8031 Wadsworth Blvd. on June 24. He was caught and issued a trespass notice.
