A while ago, on the way to Denver International Airport, one could pull off the road to a 45-minute waiting area. The arriving passenger could then use their cellphone to alert the person who was picking them up. The sign for the waiting area was clear and hard to miss.
Now there is a beautiful building featuring restaurants, bathrooms and picnic tables. There is no waiting limit. However, the easy-to-miss sign on the way to the terminal merely states “Cell Phone Area.” There is nothing that clearly informs the driver that they can do more than make a phone call.
C’mon, DIA, put up one or more clearly visible signs describing what this beautiful facility offers.
