
1 Vehicular trespass. On July 10, a Douglas County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to the Highlands Ranch Substation for a crime that happened in the 28oo block of Shady Lanein Highlands Ranch where someone broke into a man’s car and stole his wallet that included $223 in cash and credit cards.
2 Open house theft. On July 8, a deputy was dispatched to the 9400 block of Sand Hill Placein Highlands Ranch where a woman reported an Amazon Kindle and a bottle of pain killers were missing after an open house.
3 Lock punched. On July 7, a deputy was dispatched to The Social Restaurant,872 Happy Canyon Road in Castle Pines, where someone had punched the lock to the back door but hadn’t taken anything.
4 Vehicle damage. On July 7, a deputy was dispatched to the 9700 block of Rose Moss Circlein Highlands Ranch where someone had thrown a rock through a man’s driver’s-side window and flattened his rear tire. Nothing inside the truck was taken or disturbed.
5 Business tagged. On July 6, a deputy was dispatched to Buffalo Wild Wings,980 Sgt. Jon Stiles Drivein Highlands Ranch where someone had graffitied the side of the business with what appeared to be the address a tagging website.
6 Gated in. On July 6, a deputy was dispatched to Highlands Ranch RV and Boat Storage,8720 Colorado 85, where a man broke into the property, stole some items from a car and then tried but initially failed to get out. He waited until someone entered the property to get out.
