PUEBLO, Colo. (AP) — Pueblo police say they have arrested a 37-year-old man they believe responsible for a fatal bar shooting.
The Pueblo Chieftain reports (http://bit.ly/1pmgZY1 ) that Damen Blake was arrested Friday evening.
He is suspected of killing 23-year-old Quincey Coats and wounding 28-year-old Nicole Vallejos around 12:15 a.m. Thursday at Sharky’s.
Vallejos was pregnant, police said.
When Vallejos was taken to a local hospital, her baby was delivered but did not survive.
Police say the child is considered a second homicide victim.
Police say Coats and Vallejos were boyfriend and girlfriend.
