Colorado Springs police are searching for a man they believe shot two people at a party early Friday morning.

Police spokeswoman Lt. Catherine Buckley said the shooting happened shortly before 5 a.m. and left two men hospitalized. According to Buckley, the victims were 30- and 47-year-old men.

One of them was in serious condition and the other apparently had minor injuries, she said.

Officers went to the Reserve Apartments at 2013 Carmel Dr. in southern Colorado Springs after a report of shots fired. Buckley said the shooting apparently happened at a party. Police believe the shooter was an attendee of the party and fired the shots after a “disturbance” occurred.
