A bicyclist was seriously injured early Friday morning on Colfax Avenue near the I-25 ramp.
The bicyclist was crossing the road in the wrong place when a car traveling westbound struck him, said Officer Everett Moore, a Denver police spokesman.
The bicyclist was transported to a hospital.
The accident, which happened at 1:53 a.m., caused the closure of the I-25 westbound ramp for more than an hour, Moore said.
