1 Marker ruins bar mirror. On July 21, a man was arrested at the Shag Lounge, 830 15th St., after he drew on the mirror in the bathroom. The suspect was seen by an officer entering the restroom. He produced a marker and began to draw on the mirror. He was arrested when he returned to his seat.

2 Habitual shoplifter returns. A woman was arrested by Denver police July 16 after shoplifting from Walmart, 7800 E. Smith Road. The woman was observed placing items in her purse and then making fraudulent returns of items she did not purchase. After she was in custody, police learned she had been trespassed from Walmart locations three previous times.

3 Man robbed by knife-wielding suspect. A man was robbed on July 17 while walking in the 2200 block of Lawrence Street. The victim told Denver police that the suspect approached him and asked to use his phone. When the victim refused, the suspect produced a knife and said “give it up.”

4 Hat knocked off in fight. On July 19, a man was arrested after a fight in the 8200 block of East Colfax Avenue. Denver Police responded and learned that the suspect had gotten into a fight with the victim. The suspect hit the victim in the head, causing the suspect’s hat to fall off.

5 Loud suspect arrested. A man was arrested July 20 after causing a disturbance in the 1200 block of East 33rd Avenue. The victim pointed out the suspect to Denver police, who learned that the suspect had begun yelling at the victim and challenging him to a fight. The suspect also refused to leave.
