Aurora police rushed a SWAT unit to a mobile home park early Sunday morning after receiving reports of a stabbing in the 17000 block of East Colfax Avenue.
The suspect, a male, surrendered shortly before 10 a.m. after a standoff of several hours, police posted on their Twitter account. The initial call came in around 3 a.m.
Aurora police said the victim in the stabbing is a woman, who is in serious condition.
They said they would not release the suspect’s name or photo Sunday and had not established what relationship the suspect and victim have.
