Re: “Veteran assistance center in Denver needs help to avoid rapid shutdown,” Aug. 7 news story.

It is a sad story that homeless veterans are being evicted from a building that could be rented for a paltry $96,000 per year. This at the same time that Denver is seeking a federal grant of $10.2 million to house children who have immigrated illegally. A grant cannot be found to assist our servicemembers?
