What do you see?

Have you ever seen “National Velvet,” the obelisk-like public-art sculpture at the Highland pedestrian bridge? Well, there’s a party for it ( !) this weekend, despite its — or perhaps because of its — status as one of the least popular pieces of Denver public art. People look at it and they see all kinds of things. What do you see? . (I saw .)

But I don’t think he really wanted to. The rain and lightning were fantastic complements to White’s show, if you were prepared. . White’s trademark monochromatic design scheme play great with the rain.

People like cooking shows, right? There are enough of ’em to suggest it, I suppose. But there aren’t enough that are made by 5-year-olds for 5-year-olds. In fact, we only know of one, and Emilie wrote about it. Her story — and the accompanying photos and videos — are real pick-me-up material. .
