DVRs will be overheating today. And for the next 12 days, FXX’s marathon of every “Simpsons” episode ever started at 10 a.m. locally. All 552 episodes of “The Simpsons,” through season 25, as well as “The Simpsons Movie” will run in chronological order.

The marathon runs through Sept. 1, which Fox claims makes it the longest-running marathon in TV history. Can’t argue with that.
