The suspect arrested Thursday after an SUV crashed into a house has been identified as Andreas Humes.
Humes, 23, was arrested by Denver police shortly after the vehicle he was driving crashed into a home at 4455 Steele St. Two juveniles inside the home were injured in the crash.
According to the police’s probable cause report, after the crash, Humes attempted to run from the scene, but was tackled by a witness to the accident and held down until police arrived. Also, the owner of the car told police Humes is his nephew, who had taken the vehicle without permission.
Meanwhile, in an unrelated incident on Friday afternoon, a car hit a house and ruptured a gas line at 1425 S. Urban in Lakewood.
