Football. Cooler weather. Beautiful colors.
Autumn in Colorado brings a lot of things. But here in the Business section, it heralds the start of the nomination process for our annual Top Workplaces section.
Now in its third year, the Denver Post Top Workplaces program seeks to recognize area employers that are doing it right. It’s a chance to honor those that create an environment where workers feel respected and rewarded, and where those same workers feel like they can enrich their skills while contributing to a mission they believe in.
This year, any Colorado employer — private, public, nonprofit or government — with 50 or more employees is eligible.
The report, which will be published April 12, will list the top employers in three size categories and will examine what contributes to their success. The rankings will be based on a survey of employees conducted by our partner in the project, WorkplaceDynamics.
WorkplaceDynamics, which has conducted Top Workplace surveys with newspapers in roughly 40 metro markets and polled more than 2 million employees last year, will survey workers from through mid-December.
Nominations are open until Oct. 24 and can be made online at or by calling 303-261-8253.
