Broncos co-captain was among the most vocal NFL players when the second tape of Ray Rice assaulting his wife was released.

“That man should be thrown out the the nfl and thrown into jail,” . “Shame on those deciding his punishment. Smh”

Since then, , much of it surrounding commissioner Roger Goodell and the NFL’s handling of the case. After Goodell , and after many disputed such a claim, calls for his resignation or removal as commissioner have multiplied by the hour.

Late Wednesday it was revealed that the former director of the FBI, Robert Mueller III, will conduct of the NFL’s handling of the incident. It will be overseen by Giants owner John Mara and Steelers owner Art Rooney, meaning the men who employ Roger Goodell and have the power to determine if he stays on as commissioner will oversee an investigation of him.
