The man accused of shooting at Denver police officers while in handcuffs is expected to enter a plea on Thursday, but the court appearance was postponed..

Isaac Vigil faces and two counts of attempted first-degree murder for allegedly shooting at officers on May 14. He is scheduled to appear for an arraignment hearing in Denver District Court.

Vigil was arrested on drug charges and an outstanding felony and was transported to the District 4 police station. The police cruiser pulled into the parking lot and Vigil and shot at the officers.

None of the officers were injured.

An officer outside of the car shot and injured Vigil who was taken to the hospital.

Vigil is also charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of a weapon by a previous offender and possession of a defaced firearm.
