Colorado Mountain Winefest in Palisade is Sept. 18-21. The state’s oldest and largest wine festival features winery tours, winemaker and chef competitions, food and wine parings and much more. Ticket prices per event vary.

Hot time in Pueblo

The 20th annual Loaf N’ Jug Chile and Frijoles Festival in Pueblo is Sept. 19-21. Celebrating some of Pueblo’s most-loved crops, the weekend includes plenty of chiles, cooking demonstrations and competitions, along with music, arts and crafts.

Mind-body connection

Loveland’s 32nd annual Fall Holistic Fair is Sept. 20-21, at the Larimer Country Fairgrounds. From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, the fair features activities like intuitive readings in astrology, lectures, nutritional product samples and massage and reflexology experiences. Admission is $5 for one day or $8 for both days. Guests who bring a nonperishable food item will receive a $1 discount.

Hop to Monument

Monument’s Bines and Brews Hopfest is Sept. 20., with beer samplings from 10 breweries, live music, food and a fresh-hop brew competition. Tickets are $30 per person.
