1 Coconut man’s revenge. A woman who was selling T-shirts at the Phish concert at 6000 Victory Way, Commerce City, called police because a man who used to sell coconuts at the concert was harassing her and another vendor Aug. 29. The suspect threatened to injure both victims and their families because they owed him money. Police later found the suspect handing out fliers with a topless picture of the woman. He was arrested.
2 Capacity crisis. The principal of Northstar Elementary School at 8740 Northstar Drive, Thornton, called police Aug. 25 because a man broke the front door after being told he could not enroll his son there because there wasn’t room.
3 Get off my car. A drunken woman was rolling around on top of a car Aug. 25 in the 2100 block of West 100th Avenue, Thornton. When the owners of the car asked her to go away, she started threatening them and then attacked them. She was arrested.
4 One-sided vandal. Police were called to the 6700 block of Highway 2, Commerce City, because someone slashed the left tires and keyed the left side of a woman’s car Sept. 1.
5 Nighttime trailer theft. A man called police Sept. 1 to report that his 16-foot-long flatbed trailer was taken from a construction site in the 10600 block of Worchester Street, Commerce City, overnight. It was registered as stolen.
6 This trick doesn’t work. Two women were arrested at Walmart, 9901 Grant St., Thornton, for trying to conceal merchandise in plastic shopping bags that they brought into the store Aug. 28.
