1 Thief caught with heroin. On Sept. 8, Englewood police officers responded to the 200 block of West Belleview Avenue, where a man was attempting to break into a jewelry case. The man resisted arrest and was found with heroin on his person as well as several credit cards with different names on him and in his car.

2 Unarmed robbery. On Sept. 7, Englewood police officers responded to the 1200 block of East Hampden Avenue, where a man robbed a store simulating his hand as a gun. He was not located in the area.

3 Suspicious death. On Sept. 6, Englewood police officers responded to the 200 block of West Lehow Avenue, where a man was found dead in a nearby creek. There were no signs of trauma, but the death was ruled suspicious.

4 Crown Royal robbery. On Sept. 4, Englewood police officers responded to the 4600 block of South Broadway, where a man had robbed a convenience store using a Crown Royal bag around his hand to possibly hide a gun. He stole cash, coins and cigarettes. He could not be located in the area.

5 Felony menacing. On Sept. 3, Englewood police officers responded to the 4300 block of South Delaware Street, where a girl had attempted to hit her ex-boyfriend with a baseball bat. She was arrested for felony menacing.

6 Drunk and irate. On July 27, Littleton police officers were dispatched to the 1900 block of Littleton Boulevard, where a man was found drunk and in violation of a protection order forbidding him to consume alcohol. He was uncooperative when arrested and spit in the patrol car.
