BOULDER — Speaking Wednesday following a two-hour practice, Colorado coach Mike MacIntyre said it’s looking good for starting offensive left tackle Jeromy Irwin being available for
Irwin, a sophomore from the Houston area, suffered a concussion Saturday night during the loss to Arizona State.
“Jeromy was out here today (doing noncontact work),” MacIntyre said. “It looks like he will be able to go tomorrow (in practice), if everything checks out OK.
“This morning’s (pre-practice) checkup was good. We’ll find out (how he is) after some conditioning to see how he recovers with no headache or anything.
“They have a whole protocol they go through,” MacIntyre added. “If he checks out OK, he will be able to practice (Thursday) and then play Saturday.”
