As part of the scattered, citywide celebrations for the 204th anniversary of Mexican Independence, Cleo Parker Robinson Dance will this weekend welcome Arte Crisol Danza, a vibrant fusion troupe from Guadalajara, Mexico. Led by artistic director Jairo Heli, Arte Crisol interprets traditional Aztec culture through contemporary dance themes, blending the ancient and modern in its theatrical-minded “Azteca Spirit” program — with help from Cleo’s own dance ensemble. Shows run at 7:30 p.m. Sept 19-20 at Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Theatre, 119 Park Ave. West. Tickets are $25-$35 and available at 303-295-1759 ext. 13 or .
